Urchin Web Analytics Software

Urchin is a full featured website analysis tool designed to provide reporting on how visitors arrive at your site, which pages are visited, what they do while they are there and how often they return. Other valuable benefits include trending of online marketing campaigns, impact of website content and e-commerce initiatives.


System Requirements:


Urchin itself requires 700 Megabytes of free space and additional space over time for the database and log storage. Urchin recommends on a monthly basis 10 Gigabytes of new storage for every one million page views.


A MySQL/PostGres database is required for Urchin to work.


It is strongly recommend that Urchin is run on a stand alone server and not in a shared environment.
